Interior

The interior of the purse gets quite dirty. It is where we keep our makeup,  tissues, brushes…you name it! Some bags allow you to pull the interior out while it remains intact with the outer seams. If you can, do this before cleaning!

Use basic soap and water when doing basic cleaning. Grab a toothbrush and carefully brush off the dirt. (A toothbrush also helps you to get in between those tiny crevices)

Lint Roller

If the interior of your purse cannot come out, use a lint roller. Also, this is good for hair and dust particles. (Quick clean on the go) Take one of the sheets and dab the interior to remove dirt from the crevices of the purse. For larger hunks of dirt, simply use the hose on a vacuum cleaner on light suction mode.

Purses with Detachable interior

Some purses have a detachable interior, in which case, just throw that in the wash on a light cycle. Also, if it is white be sure to wash it with other white clothes to avoid dye transfer. If the interior only comes halfway out, clean the interior using soap and water sparingly, and avoid getting it on the exterior of the purse.

Wallets

One method to get annoying pieces of dirt out of the small crevices in your wallet is to use a toothpick or dental floss stick. If it can get dirt out of your teeth, surely it can in this situation too!
